One knife a month, what Spyderco next?

This addiction has gotten out of hand recently so I'm limiting myself to buy one new blade a month, lol.

It's almost January and I know the prices are going up after the first of the year, so I think I'll go ahead and buy. I don't NEED anything but like most of you know, this knife habit is like a drug but probably cheaper.

So, with all that said, what next? I already own some PM2's, and a couple Delicas.

I've got my eye on the Blade HQ Manix 2 jade/black DLC exclusive as I've never owned a Manix 2. Is this the best deal out there?

Other ones in the running are a Para 3 or Native 5, don't really know which color combo/steel I'll choose. But those three are at the top of my list. Thanks
 
Honestly, if you don't own a Military you don't own one of the best Spyderco have to offer. Actually, it's more like you don't yet own one of the best knives period.

No thanks, not really interested in the Military.

It's down to a Manix 2, Para 3, Native 5.

Not interested in any other models at this time. I'll probably own all three on my wishlist eventually just trying to figure out what to buy first.
 
I'd flip a coin between the manix2 and native5. I own both, and really like both models.

I have the titanium version of the native, and the cf cruwear manix.

Sounds you already know pretty sure what you need/want. Just go ahead pull the trigger before the prices go up in a couple of days.
 
The Manix 2 is a great knife and the BHQ exclusive looks killer and is well priced.

Personally, I would focus on discontinued and exclusive models. Top of my list right now is a Southard before they are gone and the BHQ Manix 2.
 
The Manix 2 is one of my favorites and gets as much pocket time for me as any other knife I own.
 
You already have PM2's and Delicas, so I'd eliminate the Para 3 for now. It's similar to the PM2, but smaller, and very similar in size to the Delica. That still leaves two though. Tough call. For me it would be the Native 5, as I've never had one, and am very curious about the newer refined back lock.
 
You should check out the Manix2. I have the S110V Blurple and really like it. I also like the Lightweight.
 
Para 3 S110V is pretty awesome. The Native 5 S90 liner less G-10 is really impressive too. I love mine, makes such a great EDC. I haven't owned any other version of the Native but this exclusive is a home run. The price is crazy cheap too, think this flew under the radar. I say pick this up before it disappears.
 
I’d say Manix, but a lot of people really love the Native platform and it should be enough knife for almost any situation
 
Of the three you mentioned, I recommend that you buy the Natural G10/DLC M4 Manix 2 first. The Manix 2 is an outstanding knife, and this particular variant will only be available for a little while.

I also recommend the Native 5 LW. I finally received one this month, and I absolutely love it.

Finally, I know you said you aren't interested in the Military, but I have to recommend it anyway. I regret that I waited so long to try it. In my opinion, it is one of Spyderco's all-time greats.
 
I find there is some similarities in shape between the Native, the Manix and the Shaman. All are great knives but I’d say you pretty much have to try a Manix if you wanna call yourself a real Spyderman.

Spydie puts out so many good knives it can be overwhelming. In truth if I could only afford one Spydie the Manix would be an excellent choice.
 
Manix 2 is badass. I have the G-10 S30V model. I cant keep it out of my pocket. Sticky sharp, blade is rock solid in all directions, solid heft, BB lock, larger hole, sexy lines........get one you will love it. :thumbsup:
 
Here’s another vote for the Manix. I recommend an exclusive but the S110v is also an excellent choice.
