Good Day,

I have been having my best luck carrying a fixed blade when I have multiple sheathes for it.

R Belt Sheath
L Belt Sheath
Neck Sheath
Shower Sheath, for when someone tries to deliver me a Hitchcock

And on and on....

What do you think?

I have been using Lynn Griffiths MNK-1 as my daily use knife at work. Recently I have extended it to carrying it when I am not as work as well. One of the advantages of it being very small), is that it can be carryed in many ways easily. As a neck knife, as a belt knife (cross draw) and even as a keychain knife. A flexible carrying system, either in the form of a versatile sheath or a combination of sheaths is of great benefit as if you don't have the blade on you it is obviously not of much use.

Marion...

I agree with that for sure...

The majority of my sheaths are multi carry, especially on the small ones.

To have that many carry options Left, Right, Cant, Horizontal, Neck, and IWB all in one sheath, is a bonus.
It truely makes the knife much more handy then it would be with a regular leather sheath.

Thats the great thing about Concealex/Kydex, it is very versatile in that respect...

MDP,
Most of my Kydex sheaths are also multi position. Often customers will have me make two sheaths for just two types of carry. It's usually a neck sheath along with a second IWB or some other type of belt sheath. This is easily done while I have the knife at a minimal cost. The main benefit is not having to remove screws, etc. to change carry positions.

Cliff,
I want to thank you for pointing out the usefullness of the MNK's to me as keychain knives. I have started to carry one (not on my keys), just in my front pocket. Thanks to your input, all MNK's will now go out with a key ring, and small snap clip (so they can go on a zipper pull on a jacket or purse).

Once again thanks,

Lynn, the small snap clip is a great idea. The more versatility in carrying ability the better.
