They will both be naked soon. (anyone recognize who might have put the edge on the 55, Id like to lock him in my basement for about a month to work on my knives..damn fine edge)

Funny you ask...I noticed it seemed heavier than another 55 I have ( more then just the coating I stripped off)...I planned on weighing them to compare....I'll get at it this evening and post the results, for sure.

I've never tried it, but don't generally like the look of CBT..... that one looks real good

The 55 mics @ around .269/.270. weighs approx 11+ .oz (couldnt get totally accurate reading, used an old RCBS trigger pull gage/scale, non digi) A little over an .oz heavier than another 55 I have, small CBT and stripped, that mics @ .251
