Here's one little knife I'm really proud to own - a collector's Kershaw folder made in Japan dedicated to South African Special Brigade (SADF). Enough history behind that legendary unit.
Probably made as a Limited Edition collectors item. Never seen another one like it. Would be happy to know what year it was made.

Neat knife. It’s a Kershaw 5000, and I think they were made in the early 1990’s, but I’m not 100% sure.

I believe the Kershaw 5000 (along with 5001, 5002) were made in Seki Japan with Aus6 blades in the 1980s.
In the 1990s Kershaw went to China manufacture on the 5000 using a 420j2 blade.

That is a cool little knife, a nice pocket floater I believe.
