Got an email notification about a 2 day estate sale. It was the estate of a man who collected knives among other things. I wasn't really wanting to spend a bunch of money on knives so I decided just to wait until the last day and see what's left. Got there about an hour before cl9se and asked the seller if there's anything good left. He said all the good knives are gone and it's just junk left. I went to take a look through the boxes and found a case baby butterbean and 2 gerber stockmen and they looked new. Couldn't believe nobody bought them. I go back to the guy and ask how much he wanted for the 3. He told me $5 but I talked him down to $3 for these 'junk knives. Gave a stockmen to my niece and kept these 2.
