Okay...I know it has been stated before that Danelle will not be going to the Blade Show (though that was not her choice). And so, we are on a fast track to the big June weekend, time is getting tight. To Sal and other higher-ups in the Spyderco management - if there is any way that you guys can let Danelle help out at the booth?? She is definitely THE person to have at a show like this. Plus, she would benefit from meeting the ELUs (and forumites!) face to face. Please reconsider if you can!

So, fellow forumites - what do you all have to say?

This is a no-brainer. Danelle NEEDS to be at the show! Despite her many protests to the contrary, Spyderco will be able to function for a few days without her. (Was that a compliment, or not?

I've said it in other posts, Danelle deserves to be at the Blade Show. Sal, just think how jealous all the other companies would be if your already busy booth was twice as busy due to the Danelle O'Shea Fan Club thronging in front of it. Plus it would be the perfect opportunity for her to brush up on her skills. Think of it as a Field Training Exercise. It would free you up, Sal, to do more networking for those future colaborations. I know that Joyce and Vince will probably be there but it would be even better if Danelle were there too. We all promise to buy extra Spyderco knives to offset the cost of flying her out.

Well, I can't be at the Blade Show this year (I'll be at the "Pearl of the Orient", aka Philippines), but I sure would like to see pics of Danelle together with my happy co-forumites at Atlanta...
 
Dexter, what am I gonna do with you!
What can I say? I would jump at the chance to go, but it is just not to be this time. I will have to live vicariously through y'all through the forums those days. I'm just as disappointed a all of you, believe me. The ones that make the decisions have their reasons, and I (you?) have to trust their judgement. As a last ditch effort I did go in last Friday and ask...unfortunately, some last minute folks had just been picked the day before...
I'll miss seeing you all, but there will be other shows, right?
