As if you couldn't guess, we're cleaning house at GH. Found one SN1 with a cracked handle (crack is about one inch coming out of the ferrule). $45.00 takes it delivered.

Also have ONE Chinapure with a wood handle and about a 19 inch overal length. The blade edge needs about 15 minutes with a stone to remove a ding from a rock (once I found the cracked handle, I used it to chop roots in the yard, and it hit a rock). $50.00 takes it delivered.

Contact me at 888-297-8376, ext 101.

And folks, I think that's about it for the year's rejects and blems. We did this last year if you remember, and we did a "grab bag" where if you wanted a blem, you sent a check and got what we had. But this year, I thought I'd take the time and be more specific.

Merry Christmas!

CRAIG: How much is it like the Cheetlang? Is the handle wood or horn? Does it have a full tang? What's the weight? (We want the full scoop!)

LT Dan - you're crazy!!!! :0 Full tang, blade is similar to cheetlang, wood handle, crack in handle (could fix with wood filler). Chakmak/karda are the standard (not the deluxe ones like the cheetlang). Chianpure has the fat butt - with no buttcap, but it IS full tang and the tang is held in place with the triangle washer (like the other khukuris).

Craig, just like we talked about it by phone, let's take a chance and do the Chinapure. I can use such a thing for utility purposes, and it's time for another khukuri project. Cashier's check will go out this weekend.

Hmmm, I just might be....Crazy Dan
