One more for tonight, I'm whooped!

I just wasn't ready to quit the shop tonight, even though my hand is numb from sanding, my back is aching and a couple fingers are bleeding (Besides, it was better than helping my wife with the dishes). I still had a little bit left in me, so I decided to do the handle shaping on this little bugger. This is one of my Mini Drop Points, but it's thinner stock than I normally use, coming in at just .118" thick, so I decided to just grind a swedge on one side instead of both to thin out the top edge. The main edge is between .010" and .012" before sharpening so I'm hoping this thing will turn out to be a nice lightweight pocket slicer. Also in my continuous pursuit to mix up handle color combos I paired some red G-10 slabs with thick, bright yellow liners. Don't know yet if it works or not, but I always like trying something different.

I think it turned out great! Love the color combo, and the single sided swedge.

It's hard for me to imagine you doing something that doesn't turn out really good. It looks very good.

Nice work Jon, interesting grind on the swedge. Did you consider a chisel grind at any point? Hmmmmm.

Thanks a bunch guys!! This combo is starting to grow on me:D

Handwrecker, the Mini Drop Points are 5.75" overall, 3.0" handle with a 2.5" cutting edge.
