Okay, sounds like the inlays are not an issue. So now my question, convince which knife is better, the Inkosi, Sebenza 21 or 31. Pros and Cons. Any info would be appreciated.

Which knife is better is highly subjective.
All three are high quality tools that would serve you well - buy the one that pleases your aesthetics and your hand.

X XL883N Consider the blade specs & your usage. The 31 might be the best option for some, the inkosi for others. Personally, the differences in cutting ability between the 21 and Inkosi aren't significant enough to matter in my world because the inkosi feels better in MY hand. I dislike the large 21; so even if were to carry one, I would likely use another knife for my cutting needs. I can't comment on the 31... but, if your only concern is cutting ability, it has the thinnest blade stock.

I hasn’t tried the 31 yet but for the large ones, for me it is : 21 > Umnumzaan > Inkosi
I link the more neutral handle and the deeper hollow grind

however the inkosi is great too and it will come to personal preferences

for a beater I think I will take the large inkosi with inlays

for the fun the tanto Umnumzaan

for edc, a 21 with an insingo or drop point blade

for the small size I sold my 21 and only have a small inkosi that is my most carried knife ;)

really you better have to handle each and figure out which one fits your hand better

Gonna be the large Inkosi, preferably micarta inlay for me. For work it’s my main user and prefer it over the 21. I haven’t handled a 31 so I can’t comment on it.

Just for me personally the Inkosi has a more robust feel. It has a “I can handle anything you throw at me” feel. I like the big twin washers, big stop pin and big pivot. I think disassembly is easier on the Inkosi. I wouldn’t say I trust the 21 any less tho. There are others here that work in the same trade as me who prefer the 21 so I wouldn’t say one is more trustworthy over the other. I like the thicker blade for all around use. In most of my uses I don’t have to have a real thin slicey edge.

The 21 has a more neutral handle for grip. The finger grooves on the Inkosi fit me perfect tho and don’t bother me a bit. I know people who do have problems with them tho. I prefer the looks of the Inkosi inlays over the 21.

As others have stated you really can’t go wrong with any of them.

It’s not a matter of which knife is the best, but which one is going to be obsolete soon. That’s why you should get a 21 while they’re still available. It’s the iconic CRK.

I love them all but my Inkosi Insingo is my favorite.

I have both the small Inkosi and the large Sebenza 31, the Inkosi like someone else said it is my most carried knife , the size is perfect ! Just recently got the 31 and love it certainly no burden to carry everyday either.

All else being close to equal with the Inkosi, 21,31... I have an umnumzaan,
So I bought straight out Eye Candy. I picked a Small21 with CGG. My thought for you would then be to go with which ever looks coolest to you.
