YEs I said I'd never buy another khukuri.
Yes I bought a WW2 villager this morning.
But it is a present for Nagato Sensei.
So, I dont think it counts towards my HIKV.
In fact, I have a negative HIKV count.
7 HI khukuris and knives purchased since November.
I kept three of them.
I gave or will give four of them as presents.

That gives me an HIKV count of -1
I think thats a pretty healthy number, don't you ?

I've used that rationalization, Danny. Only I've kept almost twice as many as I gave away.

Ohhh Danny,

I think you are deluding yourself. HIKV is in the initial opening and examination of a kuhk. I think we (excepting myself, 'cause I'm selfish) are all capable of giving one, or a few, away once we've gotten the smell and initial introduction to the kuhk overwith.

I don't think you can give them away to subtract from your addictive score. At best you could subtract them from the total you've purchased therefore.
7 (total purchased) -4 (given or to be given away)= 3(BOH)

Compare that to the 7 I have. With one that I've earmarked for my daughter (6 months old) and Nephew, 12 (whom I've decided can't be trusted with a weapon). That Would give me a score of 5. BUT I bought mine for the education that I've gotten from using and comparing them. (yeah yeah yeah, justification is a good thing!)

What I would do if I was you, was identify the 5 best kids at your school. The ones that you dearly love and earmark kuhks for them! Then before you leave decide that they can't be trusted with such weapons and take them with you "for the sake of the children". Then not only have you been thoughtful, but you did what you had to do to make the world just a little safer, after all you did not for yourself but "for the children".

Especially the sirupatis. 'Cuz I've never met a sirupati I like yet!
 
Think again. I have 6, have given 5 away, and traded 2 away for not HI products (asn axe and an old khuk).

May look like -1, but it's really just a ratio. HIKV measures all that you touch! So my score is really 13.

Your HIKV count is 7.

We're on the short side of infected, soem poor sods have triple digit counts! There is no hope for them.
 
I have found it really helps not to keep track of the K's I've bought.

Buy'em, give away some, but don't keep score. Sort of like the guy who goes to the casino every day and doesn't keep up with his losses. Too much pain in doing that.

Ever so often, I look at my K inventory and think " I only have three left, need to stock up". Then its back to looking for those UBBB, blems, PGA's.............:)
