hi, all

i have a stupid question here , dose the boss Jerry do some labor of making knives ?

and how i know which versions or knives are made by the big hands of Jerry ?

:D are proto made by him ?

See: Nuclear Seahorse.

Then look away quickly, someone put something in the scotch and it hurts the eyes. :D

man, you are right , that thing is tooooo sharp to my eyes , dazzling!
i can tell you frankly , it is not my style .:thumbup:

Yeah, the janitor returns to his roots occasionally and goes wild at the grinder. GFD's are the result.

I also have a one-of Fusion-handled Bowie that he told me he hand-ground.

ding--- Get a Busse knife made by anyone but Jerry. Amy can out-grind him.
:yawn::D

I had heard that since his hand injury he gave up grinding. So your knife comes from after that? Cool.

He definitely hasn't given it up completely, since he still does GFD's

Although after seeing the Nuclear Seahorse... maybe he SHOULD give it up??

Just kidding, Boss :D

I have seen him labor over a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue, does that count? I have several made by Jerry himself, confirmed by him as well. They make up the bulk of the blades I will probably never sell, or if tragedy hits be the last that get pried from my hands.

I have a few from Jerry, the rest are just production knifes to me.

The Chuckett', my Flying Mojo, the Straight Handle Mojo, my Distal Taper SHII and my FBMLE with Orange handles and a sharpened swedge are at the top of my list and worth much more than the mass produced "Customs" of the last few years.

i do have a couple but one is very special... it's called the "black heart"

i have heard the story many many times but as i am drunk i will shorten it up and tell it as best i can.

while grinding or setting up a cnc machine a carbide tooling fixture blew apart and as it shattered through the glass jerry held up his left paw.

the fixture blew through the center of his cigar hand and almost destroyed the full use of it.

luckily he drank with his right.

so his grinding had to slow down as his hand healed.

during that time he came up with the ergo design and his sex life changed.

doing much research and finagling i found the knife that was in the fixture when this happened.

it is called the "black heart" i still own it to this day.

pay special attention to the logo.
