Here is another style of my southwest bowie. This one has a 9 1/4" forged W-2 blade. OAL is 14 1/2". The handle is desert ironwood. The guard and buttcap are french grayed and the spacer is bronze The hamon on this one is one of the most active that I have achieved. There is a picture below but it doesn't come close to catching all of the activity going on. On the actual blade there is utsuri. I am really starting to like the blade shapes of the southwest style.

If I were told I could only have one style of bowie, it would be the Southwest for me. This is another beauty Craig.

Yep,it's Gorgeous and All Mine.After I saw the pic of the 1st SW bowie w/stag handle from Craig,I called him up and had him make this one for me.I just gave him the basics of what I wanted and he went Above & Beyond my expectations.He sent me the pics last night and after having a Real Crappy day,I saw the pics and my day Instantly got Better.And to think my mom always told me Not to play with knives-Good thing I never listened

That is a very sweet bowie.I really like the double guard and the bronze. :eek: It all works great together.
