Did anyone else catch P J Tomes' table? I think that was the gentleman's name. Anyway, he had the most exquisitely made small, traditionally styled knives, with lockbacks!
These things had gorgeous stag handles and looked like little jewels.
What really surprised me however, (besides them having lock back mechanisms) was that there was absolutely no blade play when locked open!
Mr Tomes definitely knows his stuff.
Did anyone get pictures of these?
Thanks,
Lenny

Lenny, I'm sorry no pics, but you're right on with those knives from PJ. I don't know if you know it or not, but he won "Most Innovative Folder" at Blade Show this year. That's the second year in a row that he's won it. He also told me what he has planned to win it again next year, it's going to be very cool. ;)

Some of ABS Master Smith P.J. Tomes can be seen here:

I recently picked up a Tomes Remington style lockback and I am very pleased with the fit and finish. I plan to really use it since he meant knives in his lower price range to be users. I recently saw a double lockback Muskrat style knife of his that I would be thrilled to own.
