Given that this site caters to afficiandos is it fair to say responses would tend to be critical? If fit and finish are your thing you probably won't look at them anyway,, right? Is the issue when you want a deal that isn't there? It seems to me if it doesn't break and you can sharpen the blade its meeting its intended purpose. What am I missing?
 
The actual knife you are talking about is missing. Along with many other details that would be needed to have a relevant discussion.

So the generic answer: Pakistan has many low quality knives coming out of it that do not even function correctly, which has, for many, poisoned the well sufficiently to not risk a drink.
 
We're not going down this road for another round. Buy what you like and enjoy.

If there's a particular knife you wish to discuss...do so, but not in a blanket thread about the products coming out of an entire nation...whether Pakistan, China, N. Korea, Uzbekistan or what have you.
