With all the trapper talk lately, I will ad mine. I got it from Velton Wilson. He is a big Case and Schatt & Morgan distributor in Plano Texas. He had this run made for his business. The handles are Texas Bois D'Arc. He cut the tree down himself from his family farm. Sent the trunk to a sawmill in East Texas, the sent the milled wood to Schatt. I bought it new in 1997 and it has been a workhorse ever since. I do not remember what metal was used, but it gets sharp and says that way. tim

That is pretty and the bois d'arc scales ought to last forever.

You ever try to drive a fence staple into a seasoned bois d'arc fence post?:)

in texas we call the bois d'arc the 100 year fence post. most has a plain grain but it's hell for strong, i have a 5 in. piece 1/4 in. thick & no one can snap it with 2 hands.--dennis

Good looking knife.
Thanks for the pic.
