Anyone see this? I bid on it, but was a few dollars short in the end. Actually I thought it would sell for much higher so I didn't bother to 'hawk' the bidding action.

SMKW suggests it was probably a training tool. It could have been, or I wonder if it was a dealer demo or something like that.

Yes, I watched it all the way through. It would have been an interesting item to add to a collection. We made similar items to aid workers in assembly stations. LT posted one he found in his gleanings a while back. They are unique and interesting. I don't know how you would put a value on something like that though. I personally consider it a manufacturing tool/artifact rather than a knife. But there is no better way to show the inner workings and assembly of a knife.

a really interesting peice. I would have thought that it would go much higher than what it did. a really neat and unusual knife!
