My dad makes knives for himself as a hobby. Here are a couple photos of a hunting knife he made for me:

Looks like a real nice deer skinner to me. I would be proud to carry a knife like that knowing my dad made it. The older you get the more you will appreciate that knife.

It is stainless. I appreciate all the positive comments and will pass them along to my dad. He has made quite a few knives, often making the blades from old files. He a very nice set of bowies that I will take pictures of next time I visit him.
