I just love this design. Handles very well, and has that nasty shark look look:thumbup:

The JH has the mean and nasty look. :D Great knife, fast and quick in the hand.
 
Very Nice - One of the coolest mods done with the classic SJTAC design -- and the best part is..... I do not think we will be seeing a bunch more of these coming from Jerry- so they are Extra Special and quite a limited run :)
 
The ridges look like they would make the blade less efficient at batoning and for general cutting. Wouldn't the extra contact points of the ridges create more friction, kind of the same idea with a full convex grind vs. a full flat design. With the secondary bevel of the full flat adds friction. So, is this knife primarily designed as a fighter or just to make people hungry for ruffled potato chips (pork rinds?)?

Actually I think the people that have them say the cut quite well.

I believe the bevels actually reduce friction because there is less surface of the knife contacting what you are cutting.
They also reduce weight...

I think it is mostly a fighter though....
 
Reprofile the convex edge and sharpen the clip and you have a knife that can cut slash and stab better than any Busse....for it's size....those (blood) gooves assist in the "No need to embrace the Suck" they will ensure the knife works as well as a Fairbain Sykes at stabbing....a very good combat knife....if Jerry would do a smaller Ratmandu size JH for easier inverted cross draw shoulder carry you would have for me "perfection"....I like to carry my knife here so it can be drawn when lying prone....my Khukri or FSH round the back....the JH is just a bit big for this....the RMD is nearly perfect...but it's not Infi and a mini JH would be!!!

I picked one up at Blade and snagged a SJTAC kydex from Okuden, wore it IWB the rest of the show.

Liked it so much I snagged a spare on Saturday.

Then Jerry had the HumpaGanza, so I got 2 more as extra's :foot:.

Like TurnerIII said. There probably won't be a bunch of these available in the future, so stock up ;)


I don't like the pointy pommel, but it's a great design and does get some IWB time on dog walks. Makes for an awesome fighter.

And I think the ones with the "2008" markings are Super EXTRA COOL !!:D:thumbup:;)
 
I just got my JH 2008 SE this afternoon from Spydie54. I really like it alot, it feels great in hand.
