and still one of my favorites, the Gerber/Paul.
I had carried a knife for most of my life, but I wasn't a collector, I didn't know there were knife collectors, or knife makers or that knives had names. Then in 1998 I found there were other people that liked knives, from reading knife magazines. In those magazines I saw you could order catalogs from knife dealers, I ordered a bunch. The catalog that impressed me the most was the AG Russell catalog. So they're one of the first companies I ordered from, and I believe this was the first knife.
This knife is still a joy, my only regret is that I never ordered one with stag scales.
