I finally got around to ordering my yearly copy of KNIVES. I sure was surprise when I came to page 127 and saw one of my knives there, the Inquisitor. Talk about a great feeling. :D It seems not so long ago that I bought my first copy (before I started making knives) and thought “Sure wish I could do that”. Well looks like I am. :D

And after closing and opening the book at page 127 about a dozen times to make sure I wasn't imagining things, I decide to start over and what do I find on the FIRST page of the book, the Inquisitor again. :D Doesn't get any better than this. :thumbup:

A big thanks to Joe Kertzman for making this aspiring maker very happy. :thumbup: :D

I know that this might not be a big deal for everyone and is only a small step in a knifemaking career. But it's a big deal to me and I felt like sharing my happiness with all my friends here who've helped and supported me all these years. Thanks a bunch. :thumbup:

Now hopefully onto even better things...

I am sure many more of your knives will grace the pages of Knives annual of which I have all copies since inception of 1981. Great to have a record of all the great knives made over the last 34 years. Too bad you are not coming to the CKG show in Toronto in August. Would be nice to see your creations in person.

I'm not surprised. Joe likes visually compelling knives which stand out.

Inquisitor = CHECK!

I forward EVERY Studio and Show image to him for his selections, and he has chosen to publish scads.

Patrice: Good for YOU!

Coop

Thanks for the good words guys and thanks for great picture Jim.

Pat

PS: Murray, I promise I will be there in a year or two at most. Can't wait to see all of you there in person after so many years of online interaction.

Congratulations Patrice! I remember enjoying your WIP of that knife, and learned from it :)

Stezan, I am glad you enjoyed the WIP.

Salem, the one on the first page (after the cover) was the icing on the cake for sure.

Thanks guys.

I remember seeing a photo of that knife and thinking how refreshing the design was. It's very tastefully designed and should have it's place in the books. Well done sir.

Thanks David for the good words and link to Coop's pic. It sure displays it well. :thumbup:
