Just finished up this combo for one of the guy's that works for my wife. She gives pretty good gifts...of course I have to actually make them. I should have left a little more cover on the handle slabs but a little late now...and I stamped my mark upside down. Oops! Let me know what you think!

Thanks! This is one of the most well formed ones I've made (Thanks, G2, for the tips!). It's amazing how much I've learned from all the great posts on here.

Looks good to me. Really clean. Is that one of those knives with the fire steel in the pommel? I almost ordered one of those.

I like the clean look...of course my tooling sucks still so that may be a driving factor :D And yea, it's one of the firesteel knives. I still dislike orange....

Nice and clean. Great contrast in colors. Maybe I can do that after watching Chucks video. Maybe.

That's a really nice looking sheath.

I've never gotten into the orange-handled knives, either, although I can see the logic of it in the woods. Maybe I'll try one some day.

One thing I've learned, you never realize how much G10 sprays until you grind orange. Good thing is it forced me to realize how dirty my shop really is! :D Shop vac got a work out afterwords.
