Walter Brend Model 2...... Overall length is 14". 8.5" ATS-34 blade that's undergone Walter's expert "high polished" skills. The handle (Cocobolo) is also accented with a high polished stainless steel guard and pins. To top it off ~ a custom made brown leather sheath (with diamond sharpener). It comes in at a whoppin' 1.25 lbs.
Sharp isn't the word for this knife! The day that I received the knife (and after 3 - 4 hours of admiring it) I was putting the knife away ~ in its sheep skin lined pouch (the leather sheath is secured to the side of the pouch). I picked the pouch up by one end. What a big mistake! The knife moved (blade tip first) approx. 1.5 inches in the pouch. The blade contacted the end of and penetrated the pouch. When the blade stopped moving the blade was protruding approx. 4 - 5 inches out of the pouch!
It's a rush just to handle this knife. A true beauty!
