One of these days I'll get to post pics of my Sus Scrofa that was ordered some weeks ago. It will be my first of this wonder metal known as Infi.

Since I am less than a piglet, I am unwise in the ways of the trough. How long after the initial ordering does it usually take for something like this?

Welcome to the addiction!
Someone will probably be around with a more definite answer, but I would guess 6 to 8 weeks. They won't charge your CC until it is ready.

This is a short run (Jerry said it would only be available at the Busse site for a month) so production times can't be that far out. I think steelnut's assessment is probably spot on.

When ordering from Busse, patience is the key (even though I've started to F5 my credit card online statements... ;) ). There are guys here waiting for knives ordered in the "Miliganza" back in March, and I'm not 100% but there may still be folks in the rafters waiting on their BATACs (which were initially offered at the beginning of the year until the Sus Scrofa came around).

A lot of what you see being shipped to people here currently are purchases from the Company Store; which are items "in stock". But the difference is that you cannot customize colors/handle styles as when you order from Busse Combat directly. Plus, ordering from the Co Store involves a bit of a hog stampede...whereas ordering from Busse Combat directly is a sure deal.

Welcome to the madness, hope you enjoy it once you receive it!

A lot of drinking goes into every single knife we make. . . . So, delivery times may occasionally be missed due to being passed out at the wheel. . . errrr, the grinding wheel that is. . . but barring that, we should hit the 6-8-12 week delivery schedule!!!

Congrats on your first INFI. . . .

Jerry :D

Oh thanks...I guess you are the Head Hog-cho...so I hope you drink something good when you grind mine...:p (I would say some Sapphire Gin or 100% Agave tequila...but those are probably fighting words around here. :D )

Jerry is a Scotch man. So if you send him a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue, you might get your knife in less than the standard 6-8-12 weeks.

Welcome to Busse ! Great knives, Great people and this great room.

There are some BATAC's around cost on the sales exchange, you may want to take a look. It is an awesome blade that you can still get near cost.

I don't have a BATAC for sale BTW, just a sugestion.

Welcome here Zen! and congrats on your first INFI:thumbup:

There are some more Spydie-forumites you might run into here.

You know now you'll have to learn a new dance next to your Jester dance, it's called the HOG stampede:D

hey zen, seems your questions have already been answered. just wanted to say welcome to the busse forum. hope you stick around.

PBUBSY, I am in lust with your avitar. Post more pics. You know the old saying about a thread needing pics! Hook some brothers up

Yeah what he said. Feel free to use this thread...it has run its original course anyway. If they are nakkie pics, the Cove is always open. :)
