hey all! getting a new knife for xmas and narrowed it down to two. blackbird sk5 or the fallkniven idun. both are great looking knives and from what ive read they both will do just fine with light batoning, fire prep, shelter construction, whittling, notching etc etc. but i cant decide which one i want. i like the micarta and spear point on the sk5 but im worried the blade might be too long. and im not sure how the grips of the idun will hold up when wet. i hear good things about both steels and the price isnt a factor in deciding. i havent been able to find anything thats a deal breaker yet so if you guys/girls have any info or know of any good threads on the subject please feel free to lend a hand. oh and side by side comparison pics would be unlikey but awesome!
