one or two bronze washers?

Hello all!

I recently picked up a Chris Reeve Sebenza 25 replica as a curiosity (and cheap from an estate sale!). It looks real until you open it up and notice some differences but primarily it has those small bronze washers you see in cheap knives. Which I mean, it is a cheap knife; it's a literal replica. I don't care that it doesn't have authentic oversized washers like a real CRK.

That being said, it has three of these washers. One on the show side, two on the clip side. Is there a reason for having two washers side by side? How would it affect performance if I inserted an identical fourth washer on the show side to balance it out to two washers on either side of the blade?

The knife was probably so off centered that the quick fix was to add another washer. Why even waste your time on a replica. Use it or lose it.
