One piece knife owners, what do you keep in the handle?

I finally found a CRK one piece knife! I've got a shadow IV on the way, thanks to one of our awesome members. I'm going to try this out as my primary blade for backpacking, hiking, and general messing about in the woods usage. The Shadow is following my ESEE 4. While a great knife, I'm obviously pretty excited about the Shadow. One of the unique features about the one piece knives are the hollow handles. What do you find useful to store in there?

Congrats indeed on a very cool OPK. The ShadowIV, MoutaineerII and the Skinner/Scout are, IMO, the pick of the bunch as far as users.

I usually keep a fire kit of some sort and/or a ceramic rod for keeping the edge alive. I have also carried money and even small folders in the handle, too. A picture I posted else where on this forum is also an option I suppose. :p

Great find, VVill! In my Shadow IV handle, currently I just have a Vic Classic. By now, I bet my Shadow IV's batonned thru a couple cords of camp fire stories and whittled 100K calories of sizzling hot dog and gooey s'more sticks. I hope you make as good o' memories with yours as I have with mine.

Thanks Fooj! Yeah, I can't wait to put it to some good use once it arrives. Will these stand up to batoning? I know you're not "supposed" to, but have you ever had any problems batoning a crk one piece?

I've batoned the heck out of both my Shadow IV and Neil Roberts. Of course, it's always striking with wood, splitting wood. I know of no CRK policy or practical reason against such use for CRK fixed blade knives.

Well, I got the shadow IV in the mail on Wednesday. It's an absolutely gorgeous knife! It has beautiful lines. It's just not for me though. I think I'll try out a Busse or something. Before I get tempted to start using the shadow really hard.
