One Piece Line in Leather Sheaths

Excuse me if this has been asked before.
Is it safe for the One Piecers to be stored in their leather sheaths?
I know that non-ss blades should be kept separate from their leather sheaths.
But the One Piecers have that great coating on them, plus, isn't A-2 somewhat SS?

My Mountaineer II stays in the sheath when not in use.The only time I leave mine out is if I return from a camping trip soaked then I remove the knife for drying.
