Out of curiosity, I just checked about 8 or 9 CRK online dealers and most of them are already out of stock on Mountaineers, Shadows, Mark VIs, and Skinners.

Last I heard, CRK stopped taking orders for the One Piece knives sometime late last year. The fellow who machined the blanks for the One Piece line in South Africa has retired, so I think the line is to be discontinued. I'm not sure how fast they are selling currently, but once the remaining stock is gone, new One Piece knives will become scarce.

Yep, you're correct. They were discontinued in late 2009. I just thought the remaining inventory of the more popular models would last a little longer than 3 months.

-Sigh- While I'd love to buy another one piece (the Skinner), I bought a Shadow IV not too long ago and can't really afford to buy another right now. Oh well. At least I got one before they're all gone!

I figured they would dry up soon. Especially the people that know they are discontinued, would buy one or two more just to have.............Now to sit back and watch the prices soar !!!
