The edge is still perfect!

I love this knife!

Then my Paul's Hatchet chopped the coconut into pieces easily.

Very nice! I think I see an outdoor carry combo comming on for you Evolute, the BM and PH combo. Seems like that would cover the bases pretty well.

I just reproduced the coconut test this evening, on two fresh test victims. The BM-E zapped straight through in one clean shot on both tries, producing nice coconut halves for my daughter to use for musical instruments. No observable impact to the blade.

A Mean Street served excellently in prying out the meat in no time at all.

Well, I just tried my Assault Shaker on a few coconut trees, as you suggested (figuring they'd be no challenge at all for the BM):
