One sweet handle

Just wanted to see if you guys liked the shape of this handle and materials and also if I should file work any part of it.It is damascus steel and ancient walrus ivory and fits the hand like a glove.

I agree. Looks very comfortable. Like the guard as well.
Will you share a photo of the whole knife?
 
It is very cool and clean leave the file work out it dose not need it and might take away from over all clean flow of the knife IMO. well you might but a small cross on the nut.
 
Well I'm glad I posted this question.I had it in my mind that I was going to filework 3 sections of this handle but now I think a good polish and etch will be just fine and a little filework on the blade spine.I will post pics before heat treat. I would also like some opinions on the upswept tip on this knife,pics soon THANKS Butch Ball

IMO, even more importantly is the end of the rear bolster....EVERY other surface of this knife has a smooth sweep to it, and you made the butt flat....does that not interfere with the "flow" in your eyes?

You are right Steven I've given it some thought but have not decided what to do yet.THANKS
