Here is the one thousandth slip joint knife I've made. The knife goes to a very close friend of my dads.
Jim enjoy the new knife.
Jim also has all the 100's. up to 1000 now.
(#1000) was ordered at his request on the specs.)

It's kind of fun to make these knives now, at first not so fun. They are some of the hardest knives I've ever made. It took me since the end of 2005 until now to do this.
Man what a ride....
But now I can say I have made a thousand......
:)

Congratulations. Quite an accomplishment.

It's a shame there isn't a master cutler designation like the ABS has for Master Smith. I'll bet you have more knives under your belt than many Master Smiths.

Congratulations Todd. I have really enjoyed the knives you have made for me.:thumbup:

Wow, that one is incredible. I've got #997 on me right now, and have carried it since the day I got it.

Congratulations sir, that's a big one, and a beautiful knife with which to meet the impressive milestone

Nice going Todd! Nice knife, and I feel proud to be a part of your history!!

Congratz on the 1,000 knives, Todd! That´s quiete a number.

I like the knives you make in general. I´m sure you´re dad´s friend will enjoy that one.

Cheers! I hope to see more of your great pieces of make.

I also really like the grooved bolsters. Congrats on the milestone; I'm sure the next 1,000 will be even better.
