ok people, i want to hear thoughts, and opinions of the one tool option.
also what would you take. if you had the option to take just one tool. or its the one tool you hope to be stranded with. why would you take it, or why would you want to be stranded with that one certain tool.

p.s.
the one tool option is one tool you cant or dont want to survive with out,
the one tool has to perform in all aspects of survival.
from food prep to skinning, and batoning. and what ever you find your self having to use the one tool for.

Considering this is the Becker sub-forum, there IS only 1 tool. The Tac-Tool BK-3. Thankfully I have one of them. And I loves it!

Id hope to have my BRKT Brovo 1 with me. I can compently make fire, shelter, skin game, wood work, and anything else i need.

In that scenario, I wouldn't hesitate to take my BK16. Though I haven't gotten a chance to really evaluate it, I can tell by the design that it will admirably serve all of my needs and more. With it, I can make other tools, shelter, traps, and fire. It was designed for bush craft by someone who practices bush craft. What more could you ask for?

This question really is pretty far afield of Becker, given the way it's phrased. Y'all have been warned about such.
Thus, I'm going to have to go with the Winnebago, assuming the gas tank is full and there are some reserves. :D

Hint: Keep it about Becker, or this one's going off to W&SS.
My serious answer... BK-9. Period.

Depends,

If I'm gonna be ''stranded'' forever and have to rebuild civilization...the BK2.

If I'm gonna be ''stranded'' for a day or a week.... the BK9

If I'm stranded with some Jose Quervo.... a BK13 (to cut up the limes)

If I am going to be stranded and have to rebuild civilization, Jessica Alba......

For real though one tool? Probably the Machax, I like my 9 more for most of that tasks that I currently do, but the Machax is capable of a wider range of work tasks imho.

BK 4, but the Cincinatti version. Love the edge geometry and the thing chops like a mofo.

My Ft Turner Buck Tomahawk. Nice wide trumpet shaped bit. I've used it for skinning, scraping hides, chopping and slicing up goodies for the stew pot, chopping kindling, and clearing brush. It's a hatchet, it's a scraper, it's a machete, it's an ulu.
