Nooooo it's not a Busse but rather one of it's relatives. Not since the original Ratweiler have I seen the likes of this coming out of the Swamp. And being made out of 154cm, it'll be able to hold up to swamp like weather and any other climate for that matter. 154cm happens to be a damn fine steel and one of my favorites. Sharpens up real knice, cuts just the same and is tough enough to hold on to that edge. SRKW added some real cool features to this little guy, beveled spine, useable choil with thumb detent right above it, and finally a handle length that works for us guys with oversized hands. Now I ain't sayin I've turned Rat or anything fellas, I'll always be a little ole piglet, but I will say that this sweet blade will get some serious belt time this summer.

Oh and on a final note...if you have tried Steelnut's sheaths..brothers this boy is on to something for sure! I've gotten to wear this sheath/knife all day in the field and barely knew it was there. Rides nice and high where it can't be seen sticking out of the bottom of my shirt. Great blade retention and the retention appears to be all on the handle, so far not a single scratch on the satin finish. The draw is currently a little tough but that will loosen up over use. Nice job bro!

It sounds like you will not be using that Meaner, so just send it right out. Nice Rat!
