One watch, one knife

On a recent trip, I decided to pack one watch and one knife. Both decisions were fairly difficult as I have several of each for different purposes. A few weeks in, the Spydie Clipitool Standard I chose to bring has been a champ. Not that I haven't missed carrying my other knives, but this one has filled every need I've come across. It's opened cans of beans, cut up Northern Pike and fishing line, cut stalks of rhubarb, opened beers, and fulfilled every other standard knife task that's been asked of it. I'm curious what your knife choice would be if limited to one option for an extended trip.

Nice Bremont too!!

I started wearing a smart watch recently. Surprisingly, I like it. It's a Samsung Galaxy watch 46mm.
Knife wise, my small Sebenza would be in my pocket.

Assuming I had other tools at my disposal like a hatchet, multi tool, etc, I could get by with any of my folders, except my automatics.

My Invicta Darth Vader watch is my most robust watch, and I usually wear it everyday. For sake of the thread, I'll say my new Para 3 Spy27 lightweight. Great knife, larger than I expected. Perfect size, great action.

One could go far with a Rolex Sea Dweller and a old Steel 4-Max.
On a budget, one could go just as far with a G-Shock and a 4-Max Scout.
If given a choice among what I have, I'd take a Rolex GMT2 and a Cold Steel AD-10.

The watch choice is easy as I haven’t worn a mechanical one since the launch of the original Apple Watch and am now on my second (Series 4 w/LTE) The knife would have to be a Sebenza of some sort.

On a trip I usually only take one knife and one watch, less stuff to worry about keeping track of. I usually take my fully tegimented Sinn U1 and my tanto Umnumzaan.

The watch - IF I brought one, would be my Orient Blue Ray II.
The knife - assuming that I'm flying, a Hogue Ritter Mk-G2. Seems my checked luggage always gets checked; so I go with easily replaceable.
The hat, for GatorMedic GatorMedic - Barmah Squashy Bronco. Okay, my (then) new dog got my Bronco back in December I replaced it with a Barmah vintage kangaroo. Style-wise, though, it's the same hat

I’d take a Bugout, seeing as how it’s been my EDC for a couple weeks shy of three years. My watch would be my Gshock which has been my everyday wear for a few years. My hardest conundrum when packing for a trip is which hat(s) to bring.

My Bugout was on my short list, but I opted for some extra tools.

I travel light , so I usually take the knife in my pocket and a spare packed away.
As far as watches, usually a cheap Invicta auto.

Went to Myrtle Beach in February , before the shutdown and I think I carried an Umnumzaan and had a Buck 110 in my bag.
And since auto knives are legal in SC, I usually pick one or two up while I'm there, so I come home with more knives than I brought.

But out over the years I've realized that the one knife you carry for a week or two becomes your favorite, because it's all you have and it gets used.

I typically bring a Sm Sebenza & Native LW traveling. Native for go anywhere and Seb for most of the time. I’m smitten by the Apple Watch. Favorite watch ever. I have two Spy-DK folders for areas where small non locking two handed knives are the best option.

Rolex 1978 Sub wherever I go

if I’m staying inside the USA, most likely I’ll take a Case Bose Tribal lock

If international - a SAK ALOX

If it’s an urban trip, it would be a titanium Omega Seamaster and a Koenig Mini-goblin. If an outdoor trip, then a Garmin Instinct and a CRK lg Sebenza.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer.

If I'm driving it could be any of my number of EDC's. If I'm flying a SAK ALOX so if I forget to put it in my checked baggage it's no big loss.

Manix 2 and my Tag F1 will happily get me through a week or two of anything I might encounter.

I had to look that hat up, looks nice :) I wear hats for my sports teams so it's always a hard choice when going on a long trip. Do I bring my Gators, Lightning, Buccaneers, or Rays hat? Then I have to decide on color/logo because I have 3-5 hats for each team. I usually go with one particular grey Gators hat because it is the most versatile.
