Have had this knife about 8 days now and must say I like it very much. Its roughly the same size as a Spyderco Delica. I bought this knife just based on some things I read about it prior to its release. First thing I noticed was how good it felt in the hand, the Zytel scales have a textured surface that almost feels like G10. The ArcLock is easy to operate and locks the blade up solidly. In use it is similar to Benchmade's AxisLock, though functionally there are differences. The blade is ATS34 with a subdued, satin-finish. I believe the blade's tip is a modified-tanto, considering it almost comes to a spear-point. Came to me shaving sharp and is still almost that way after a weeks hard use. Cut up numerous cardboard boxes with thick duct tape around them. The pocket clip is deep carry; the entire knife disappears inside the pocket. Depending on the type of pants you wear, it might be easier to access the knife by "helping" it out of the pocket by pushing it upward from outside the pocket. I found that either way it was drawn was comfortable for me. One thing I wasnt comfortable with was the tightness of the clip. I took it upon myself to remove the single philips screw, which appears to have been lok-tighted on! oops! Removed the clip and tightened it some by using a pair of pliers wrapped in chamois cloth to prevent scratches. Little bit was all that was needed, now its just the tightness I like. One thing though, I noticed that philips screw was nicked a little, Im afraid it will eventually become stripped. Please tell me what size screw is used to hold the clip? Also, should the clip screw be lok-tighted? Very pleased with SOG for this knife. Its a smaller sized alternative thats easy to carry. Practical as a working knife. Also looks and feels practical for self-defense should the need arise.
