Seems an occasional North American knife goes wandering down to a home where the Kiwi roams, and the deer and the other introduced ungulates play.
And seldom is heard a discouraging word from our friends down there, where regardless of the foreign species, a paradise remains.
Fes seems to have a hold on what makes it a wonderful place to live, from what i have seen him show us. He also keeps one of our precious worldwide knife traditions, paying at least a coin for every knife received. I believe this heads off bad luck, loss of friendship, and who knows how many dangerous maladies!
These coins indicate a man who does things in full measure - no halves for Fes!. Behold, along with some American and Canadian counterparts (those aren't pennies - THESE are pennies!! I know, I know - he was an Aussie), payment in full for a couple of pocketknives!!

Very Cool Charlie! And Thanks for posting this, it reminded me I need to get a coin in the mail to Mr. Losicco.

Love the coins, Charlie! One day we will all meet up with FES in paradise

New Zealand's pretty and all, but I don't know if I'd take it that far.

Ohhhh, you mean... after. ;)

Another great gesture on FES's part, as is his wont. Thanks for the picture, Charlie!

"Spending a penny"

The public toilets used to cost a penny,
so spending a penny meant ....................

No wonder their beers are so big. Thirsty work carrying around that change. Not to mention running from all those poisonous critters.

Fes has beaten me to it Charlie, since I have shifted, my jar of old coins has been missing, in it are coins to head your way, and to a lot of other folk.
I don't want to send just any coins, as I know the coins in this jar, and it is imperative I find them, so I have been worried for some time, please forgive the delay in my late, but not forgotten payment owed to you and my other friends who have gifted me.
Fes... as per usual, you have come through my friend, thank you, and thank you Charlie for being such a generous person.
