I have a Boker 8348 pattern I'm interested in dating. It looks to have the older "Tree Brand" etch on the clip blade. I've been looking for online resources but haven't found anything useful yet. Anyone have any info on some websites with this type of info?

here are some pictures of the knife i'm trying to get some info on.

Hello morrow,
I can't tell you much about it, but the tang stamp makes it pretty sure it was made in or before 1984.

Have you posted this in the Bernard Levine forum? I don't have any more info than the tang stamp.

Thanks, Terry

Terry,

Thank you for the reply. I have not yet posted in Mr. Levine's forum yet but I did post in the Traditional forum. I guess I know where my next stop is. :)

Thanks again.

Lol, when I read the thread title, I was wondering what a person would do for a first date with a Boker Knife?

On what date would it be appropriate to kiss a Boker knife?

I guess I better read the online guide to dating...:D

it's funny...when i was typing out the post i knew this would come up. i thought about changing it but then it hit me....if there was one place where it should be acceptable to announce to the world that i want to romantically date a knife...it should be here. :p
