be careful of online metal suppliers, i've had a bad experience. one site said they made custon cuts, but what they didn't tell me is that you pay for the entiar piece they cut it from. i was looking for a 7" peice of m-2, so i e-mail the guy on a price, and it came out to be approx $120. then i called up another place, but they said $26. i e-mailed the guy back and he said he was charging me for the whole, peice but if i didn't ask i'm sure he would have kept the whole peice. this probably isn't true for most companies, but that's my experience.
