the only animals Ive ever seen on that list were
a deer and a cat and a rabbit :D

fugawee, don't forget to check the distance between footprints (smaller pic next to the large print pic). Its a big clue.
 
2 wrong, i transposed grey fox and bobcat...which was silly now that i think about it.
 
Tried to changed the original thread title but it only updated the header of the OP. It sounds like I'm talking about browser cookies, not animal tracks...
 
This is a clever idea, but it should be expanded. Even, potentially, added on to. Do this test first, then move on... fishers, armadillos, raccoons, and other regional animals... then start doing moose, elk, caribou, and other closely related ones.

Of course, I didn't put the work into the original, so it's easy for me to criticize. Actually, I maintain this is a great diversion. But it's such a good idea I think it could be increased.
