Besides me :D, who's getting a Bucklite 426 form the web-special? For that price, come on!

Saving my money for an Ecolite 110.

I'm totally digging the scalloped finger groves and overall feel of the Ecolite 112 I have. That frame simply disappears in my hand when using the knife for a lengthy period of time. And I think the Ecolite's Paperstone looks a lot better.

Don't get me wrong, the 426 is a great blade for a great price. Great value. But, I want the Ecolite more.

I bought them back when the orange ones were on there also. I bought one of each, and think they're a great value at that price. Especially if you order enough to get free shipping.

Thanks guys.
Dave- Got an extra Orange? :)
I just love the simple, linerless design of these folders.
And yes, the shipping cost is nuts!

I've been debating between the 422, and a Buck 442. I actually had and used a 442 for a number of years, and certainly wouldn't mind having another one. But it would be nice having a lightweight 110 or 112 as well.

Lycosa,

Do the 422 and 426 have the same handle thickness as their heavy weight counterparts?

That, I do not know.
Hold on for a Buck Pro.
SD- For the price, you can't go wrong!

The 422 and 426 measure just a hair under 5/8" using a tape measure (I can't locate my digital calipers right now.) and if any thing are a bit thicker (about 1/32") than a 112 or 110 which are right at 9/16". The Ecolite 110 is the same thickness as a standard 110.

In case you're curious, here's the weights:

422-----------2.61 oz.
112-----------5.98 oz.
426-----------3.7 oz.
110-----------7.34 oz.
Eco110------- 3.96 oz.

One more thing... I forgot how much I like the finish that Buck puts on their blades. It's like a duty finish that really holds up well.

Yup...those been on the web specials for a long time now. Those are one of the best bargains around.

My grandson saw one of my orangies in the gun tool box and wanted it. Oh well... Minus one orangie.

lol! It's the buy of the year.
I have my 422 in my pocket. I got it today and it's flawless! I used to edc a CQC7.

I plan on picking up a few when Buck puts the 110's up with Black Micarta Scales, Nickel Silver Bolsters and S30V Blade.

I picked up a few of these when they first hit the web specials. I should get more... Anyhow, quite a knife for $18. Solid, light, with steel that can actually be easily sharpened and hold a nice edge. Plus+made in U.S.A.

Tony- Good for you. Like I said, it's the buy of the year. I wished I looked at Buck Knives before I went folder crazy. I would have saved lots of money. Guys, get one of these Bucklites before they sell out!
