I looked to the left of my laptop today and realized that what I saw isn't common for most people. This type of scene tends to be typical when I'm on my computer at home:

Got any pics that would only come from an EDCer?

That's awesome. I was just starting on my ZT0350 when I saw your thread. I also was playin around tying some 550 lanyards. My wife hates using my PC. She says it's dangerous.

Nice! How's that Waimea? Interested in getting one. Also, I love the Scotch and the Vicodin in such close proximity to each other! booze, painkillers, and knives all in the same vicinity.

I'm a wild a crazy guy! Haven't hit the Scotch in months and the Vic's are just in case. The Butane helps keep my cigars lit and my sinuses clear.:D:thumbup:

The Wiamea is a great Ti Framelock. It is a tad smaller than a small Sebenza but I like it's size. Great edge on the BOS S30V blade as well!

:)

My bathroom cabinet looks like this :D

Pix are crappy because they are from a cell phone

I don't believe in cluttering up my computer desk with knives - that's what my adjoining custom built knife cabinet's for - it's has a dropdown front that becomes a workstation for maintaining my knives.

As the saying goes. Pics or it didn't happen.

I knew I wasn't the only one. This is what my mousepad looks like everyday.

Finally figured how to add pics

Cabinet is made from recycled and stained Kauri pine. Size is 5' x 3'2" x 14". Deskarea is ~ 3' x 17". Unfortunately I've filled all the drawers so also bought a 9 drawer mechanics tool chest - and filled it

Now that is a nice setup!
I want something just like that, I just have to stop buying knives and save some money I guess. LOL ;)

Thank you. I kinda like it too and it came out OK & does the job well although I'll never be a master cabinetmaker. Most of the timber was from some old shelving I was given about 17 years ago = free. Don't see too much solid 14" wide boards these days. Only had to buy hinge & lock, the plywood and meranti for the drawers, and the metal drawer runners - and the stain. Once locked it just looks like a normal dropfront desk. Took me a couple of months to finish as I had to strip and repair a lot of the timber first.

Can't give you plans cause I never made any - just put together what I could salvage as best I could to maximise the size. Have a hunt around antique and 2nd hand furniture shops for ideas - mine was based on a combination of several desk designs I'd seen over the years
