I would have more then one XM. As it has been said many times the XM-18 is a solid knife. I have had one for a while now and its an amazing knife.

Nice knife you have there.

I would have to agree.

At first I wasn't that impressed by the knife. Mostly in terms of looks and feel. I wasn't that impressed with how it felt in the hand and this was a shame considering all the praise it gets from being comfortable. It grew on me though. Now I like it and it feels great in the hand.

I love the DLC non flipper look.

Yesterday I found out he will sell direct for LEO/ Fire/ Military.
Today I found out he is less than 2 hours from me.
I see a road trip in the near future so I can actually get them in my hand and pick the best on for me.

At the risk of (re)opening that can of worms again, the XM-18 lives up to and surpasses the hype, unlike another famous Ti framelock I know, have owned and used. I own a 3.5" flipper and it's already designated as an heirloom ;) An XM-24 is on the list, if I didn't already have an XM-18 it would be my first priority, now it's at #9 or so. I wish I had known about the 4" model before I bought the 3.5". :D
But Hinderers are excellent. Really truly excellent.

Yep. . . That about sums it up.

THanks for the nice words everyone. I noticted that my Rick Hinderer Lock Bar Stabilizer is stamped but in many other photos of XM-18's i dont see this. Does anyone know if this is a Gen 1 thing only ?
