  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Only one left...any takers ?

if i had the coin i'd buy it and use it. but i've got another scandi on the way which will satisfy the scandi addiction for alot cheaper :)

yeah it appeals but the price is so far away from a koster that I could not justify it although what it will be worth down the road.... not rich enough for that kind of collecting.

Cor Blimey !! I like knives, but I judge them mainly on utility and reliability. This is a nice knife, but a ridiculous price. Maybe forty times the cost of a Mora, but probably not even twice as useful as a Mora (although the sheath is better than some Mora sheaths).

Perhaps if I were a collector I would feel differently.

Have to admit, I would love to own one. As a collector's item. My less expensive knives, Mora, CRKT and Buck are in place ready for use. They won't be labeled as Safe Queens.
Good Luck

Looks clumsy and the pricetag is ridiculous. Absolutely no reason for that.

Outrageous price tag, but Wilkinson Sword made good stuff! A shame it's not a little more in reach.

That big a price for a British knife and no 'Bear Grylls' signature on the blade? Hmm, I don't think so!

Nice knife - great heritage - even greater price!

Stainz

Cart before the horse.

I carry the same fixed blade for a couple of hours or so a day for about 300 days a year punctuated by longer innings. I'd probably have a wry smile if I found someone I respected who was also out that much and used a knife to solve similar kinds of problems mine does also picked a very similar sort of knife to me.

That is totally the opposite to the way these guru knives seems to work. Matey rocks up, wants a knife like Mears, pays through the nose, and then toodles off to see if it will make them more Mears like on the odd weekend. It's a tax on stupidity. I love it.

Interesting to see that Dartmoor under the hood as well. People have paid a pretty penny for those too but then you see one here. Barring needing a handle stuck on it those unfinished £59.95 Dartmoors look equal to any other 440C blank hardened up for toughness rather than edge retention. I see they have a sale on complete ones down from $656.96.

bushcraft is right - it is called "Rip off Britain" for a reason
