After posting about Buck 110 Customs & seeing a lot of the Custom pics(Buck collectors are just as fanatical as "those"Case guys)....How many actually carry & use their customs? I once asked a well known maker friend of mine(at Blade) what his feelings were on Buck knives! His answer was...Jim....don't EVER mention my name on this but I charge & get big money($$$$$$)on my knives but if I could only own a Buck 110.....I could do everything I needed to do hunting etc. That was the highest complement I ever heard & respected concerning the 110!

I carry a Buck slipjoint or one of my Bucks with a pocket clip, (Paradigm, Marksman, Vantage, etc.) the majority of the time but I have carried and used this custom shop 110 on occasion. Partially serrated S30v with nickel bolsters and indigo scales.

I ordered it with the serrations in order to cut the plastic banding at work and it does that and other tasks quite well.

O- I agree. I could feel well equipped carrying my paper stone 110 on a deer or hog hunt. On a elk hunt I'd carry my 428 Selector (a 2 blade model 110) and a 121 for quartering. But the workhorse would still be a 110 blade. I don't own a Buck custom but knowing me I'd carry it. DM

I am a city guy and may use my Northfield Wall Street to cut a steak at dinner...but no skinning here.

I do carry a Buck Paradigm in my back pocket...love the deep pocket clip. Once in a while I'll carry my Paperstone 110 in a nylon sheath because it's so lite.

I don't carry any of my customs.

Mike
