Searching for anything else is the category. ESEE Junglas 2/ Becker BK9 is the only other that i've came across. Am i missing any. Thanks

recently got an ontario ct5 (which is perhaps a bit larger than you were thinking, but your post was not very specific)

it is the largest ontario available ;)

I sold my 6 and got a Skrama 200 instead. Same size, harder steel, thinner grind, but you loose a pointed tip

What category? (Not trying to be obtuse, but you jumped from Esee 6 to BK9 and Junglas - basically into another category, from my perspective)

Condor makes a number of big ones if that is what you're interested in. (Jungolo, moonshiner, moonstalker, various parangs, Ironpath, hudson bay, Plan A). Also the Kabar Becker BK-7.

I'm guessing you want a camping/hiking/survival knife with 6"ish blade?

Price range?

The usual budget blade is the Cold Steel SRK in SK5 steel. Great bang for the buck.

If you want better steel, there is a San Mai and 3V version too.

TOPS offers a lot in this category too. I'd pick an ESEE over TOPS tho. The ESEE 6 is a classic blade design that I love. ESEE has a good rep for their warranty too.

PS. If you with an ESEE knife. Get the contoured G10 handles. They are much more comfortable compared to the old micarta handles.

I'd vote BK9 too. I throw some other options out there too. Kabar, Ontario, and Condor do a good job with the blades. Linked from BHq for easy reference.

I had to look up the blade steel for the Kershaw camp knife. It is spring steel. I have no clue how it performs.

thanks for your time, ill look that this

$ range 150 max
i have a Rat 7, looking for sumthing bigger, but not Junglas big.

rat 7 is a 7" blade, junglas is a bit over 10"...

so you want like an 8" or 9" blade pretty much

check out the condor hudson bay camp knife, 8.5" plain but tough 1075
or, seriously look at a special 80crv2 blade, skrama, is about 9.4" but the handle is large so maybe you want the skrama 200 (7.9")
