Hey Guys...

Heres the Concealex I've made for the Ontario D-Guard Machete..

Sheath is of front break design and is held in place very well with the lock on the Guard of the machete..

I'm not quite done with this,, but is pretty much the way it will be done...

So Whatcha think ??

Wow, great job! looks like it fits like a..ah.. Sheath! nice forming, you got it down man :D

Wow, that looks AWESOME! Very nice word, as usual!

Great... Now I want a 12" machete again...

thanks Fiddleback! I hope to be getting into that one day soon, I could get some good tips from that. Keep us posted on your experience please :)

Normark,

That looks great. That break-front design would be great for a Khukri as well. Just built a 7" one for myself for camping/hiking. Might have to try one like that.

Thanks for sharing,

Charles

nice work, i've got to learn how to do this.

i own the 22 inch and still carry it open.

I've never used a break-front sheath but it sure looks smart. Nice work as always, Normark!

Good work! It begs to have a compartment down the side for stashing a mora, firesteel, etc.

Hey Guys..

Thanks much..

Dale..
That's for sure..
It's got alot of real estate on it eh!!

Theres actually a Vic Paring knife being mounted on it...

Unfortunately because of the front break design I can't go my standard route of banding around the sheath...

Cool combo. Maybe some countersunk screws from behind? Or just rivet it on. It's not like there would be a heavy load with Vic potato peeler-- about 3/4oz, IIRC. You gotta do a firesteel though

Normark, are you going to be selling these routinely (without sending you the machete) or was this a special order thing? I might be interested in one.
