ontario 499 garage sale find - need sheaths

Stopped at a garage sale today and came across these two Ontario 499 survival knives. picked them up for a good price. Now I just need to find some sheaths to go with them. They have a good used look to them, would be cool to find some good used sheaths for them. If anyone has sheath for these that they are interested in parting with let me know.

The Knife Center (of the Internet) has our 499 sheaths for sale. They are Mil-Spec and will be an exact fit.

Tooj, thanks for the reply. I did see the sheaths at the knife center. Was hoping to find a used sheath that will look like it fits better with the used knife.

I know this isn't much help, but try calling around to your closest Army/Military Surplus store. You never know, you might get lucky.

That's awesome. For whatever reason, this is my favorite knife to hold. The thickness doesn't make it the best slicer/dicer, but I love the feel of it. Can't wait for mine to start aging as well as the first one.

thanks for the idea on checking military surplus store. I actually know of one not to far and will be stopping by. I think my other best option is to look for a couple genuine used sheaths at a gun show.

Vingints - I know exactly what you mean, something about these knives, they just feel so perfect in your hand.
