Ontario 499 sheath question

Hi I am hoping someone has both and can help me out.

Does anyone here know if a kabar short will fit in a Ontario airforce survival knife 499 sheath? Pictures would be awesome.

Even if it were a 1/2" shorter, it's a pretty sloppy fit.

Ok thanks. I broke my 499 so i have the sheath and like it was just trying to find something to put in the sheath.
