For sale: Ontario ASEK (Aircrew Survival Egress Knife)
Built for mega-abuse. Original factory edge was pretty sub-par, so with lots of elbow grease I reprofiled it with wet stones and wet/dry fine grit paper/ceramic rods and touched up the serrations. It is now has a decent edge capable of cutting objects.
Perfect for a bug-out bag or emergency stash. Comes with nylon sheath.
-1095 carbon steel blade
-0.1875" thick; 5" blade; black rubberized handle. 10.25" overall length
-Hardness Rc 50-54
-Zinc phosphate finish to inhibit rust
-Made in the USA
