why is the handle on the "midnight" so much larger than the handle on the "gambler" ?????? it is a big difference.. also anyone do mods on
these ? i had a e-mail address for someone doing eagle grips..lastly,
anyone know the seven fencing terms from Keating's bowie basics, the
first is "Prima" after that he uses English.

Hi Joebe,

I know forum member XRAYED has rehandled a few(very nice:)). I believe the handle is larger to aid in grip, and because of the fighting system assocated with it. You might want to ask in Tactics/Training huge amount of Keating fans there:).

thats who i was thinking of, i wanted to see if he recommends polishing up the blade, he also was doing the grips.

VERY nice looking bowie !! i am sticking with the "Gambler"
i don't like the fatter handle of the other models, have you
ever put a full double guard (brass) on a Gambler ? could the
orginal handle then be put back on ? i have to contact River
City also, i sent a couple of E-mails but i see theres been a
forum problem of some sort.

Mike, i want to know how long the return would be on a sheath for for the Gamlber with the bevel ?

just traded a "Midnight" it just did'nt feel as right as the
Gambler.......
